Christina Vincelli and Jevon Gantner were married in Jonesboro, Georgia in a Gone with the Wind themed sponsored wedding.  The couple saved over $25,000 on expenses with about $10,000 out of pocket.  The wedding was held on May 14, 2005 and 175 guests attended.

Stately Oaks Plantation is an 1839 plantation home where Margaret Mitchell, the author of "Gone with the Wind" grew up listening to war stories from the soldiers of the Civil War. Her grandparents, The Fitzgeralds' actual fireplace stands outside on the property. It is a very historical site and Jonesboro, Georgia is penned "Legendary Home of Gone with the WInd."

Christina's gown was a "modern day" version of the white ruffled dress that Scarlett O'Hara wore in the opening scene, of the movie, (at the picnic) . It was a white, A-line gown with ruffles from the waist down. The upper bodice was made of an embroidered floral design with sequins and beads.

The bridesmaids wore emerald green A-line gowns with matching elbow length gloves and crinoline underneath to give it an 1800s feel and they walked down the aisle with bouquets that were made on top of closed parasols to add drama to the theme.

Christina's bouquet, provided by Southern Bouquets, was made of a large blue hydrangea, red gerbera daisies, white daises, and orange roses.

The tables were adorned with favors such as truffles and trivia about the bride and groom. The centerpieces were white rose trees in with beads provided by Balloons and Events Over Atlanta.
